I Had A Really Bad Day Last Wednesday

My Model Tech, Magic Extra was a great flying airplane but I had the control throws set way too high. I had been thinking of setting up a high rate and a low rate so I could continue to enjoy the high rate while I was doing aerobatics, but I would have low rate for a little slower response during landings. Exponentials would also have helped but the particular Transmitter I was using didn't have that feature. I didn't make that change soon enough.

On Wed. we had some pretty high wind gusts. About 3 feet off the ground, during a landing, the wind flipped me into a right bank. When I flipped it back I over corrected. At that point I decided to abort the landing. So when I rolled it back, I gave it full throttle, and up elevator. But once again I over corrected my roll which left me inverted, full throttle, up elevator and 3 feet off the ground. It hit going straight down right in the middle of the asphalt runway.
